The Apartments
The apartments are located 80 meters from the sea and a short walk from the town center, down a quiet and peaceful side street. They are spacious and full of light, complete with all the necessary comforts to fully enjoy a beach holiday. All of the apartments are located in the same building, which is owned by the Danubi family. The house takes its name from our grandfather Lorenzo, who at the end of the 1950s began to build it. It is now managed directly by us, his grandchildren: Monica and Andrea.

The Town
Castiglione della Pescaia, located in the heart of the the Maremma area of Tuscany, is a small medieval village that developed since the 1960s into an attractive seaside resort, protected by gentle hills that slope down to the sea.
The beaches of Rocchette, Punta Ala, with its internationally renowned port, the rock of Capezzòlo, the crystal clear waters, the nature that surrounds it and the services offered have made Castiglione an important tourist destination, the pride of the Tuscan Maremma, awarded in recent years with the Blue Flag and the 5 Sails of Legambiente.
The town has an Aragonese castle on the top of the ancient village, in whose characteristic streets you can relive ancient atmospheres, and admire the beautiful panorama views.
From the natural port, at the mouth of the Bruna River, the city center develops, full of restaurants and taverns where you can taste seafood specialties based on fresh fish or traditional Maremma dishes such as tortelli, pici, wild boar, all combined to the vast choice of local wines.
The Surroundings
Castiglione della Pescaia, located right in the center of the Tuscan Maremma, is a good starting point for daily excursions to the various attractions in the area.
There is the Diaccia Botrona Naturalistic Oasis, one of the largest swampy areas in Europe where you can admire the flamingo rosa, and the Maremma Natural Park, or the famous Terme di Salturnia. A little further away are the cities of Siena, Pisa or Florence. From the port of the town, boats leave daily for the islands of the archipelago, Giglio, Giannutri, Elba and Pianosa, or choose to visit the Etruscan Necropolis of Vetulonia, with its museum, or the Roselle excavations.
